How To Take A Concert Picture
Concerts are a great way to hang out with your friends and just have a good time.
A lot of the times they have cool lights and such that would make a great picture. But how do you capture that without it being too dark or too bright?
A lot of the time its very dark in the concert venue aside from the spot lights. A lot of cameras do not do well in low light. To achieve the look you want you should first find the ISO setting on your camera. Usually you would want your ISO to be no higher than 1200, or the picture will get very grainy, but in very low light, like at concerts you would want your ISO to be set at 1600 to 3600. Next you will want to adjust your shutter speed. Find that setting on your camera, it is usually a dial next to the button that takes the picture. I would recommend setting the shutter speed at 1/300 of a second to 1/100. Depending on how light the venue is, take a few test shots and figure out what you should set your shutter speed at.
Lastly, I would suggest adjusting your Aperture or the F/stop. The larger the aperture number is set at, the more of the picture will be clear or sharp. But the larger the number the darker the picture will be. I would suggest not setting your aperture lower than 5.0 but not more than 7.0 or it will be too dark.
Now go and enjoy that concert!
Until next time,
Clarisse
